Home Reversion Plan
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Home reversions involve selling part, or all, of your home to an investment company (called a reversion company) which, in return, will give you a cash lump sum or an income for life and sometimes the option of both.

A home reversion plan allows you to release a percentage of the value of your home. The interest accrued in this plan is in line with the appreciation (or in rare instances, depreciation) of the value of your home. For example, if you choose to release 20% of the value of your home, the lender will receive 20% of the value of the property at the time of the sale.
